What type of haircut would be best for very thick hair?

I have very thick hair. I sometimes find difficulty managing it for it is so thick and I noticed that it is becoming dry than before. I want it to be cut into a bob but I don't know if it will make my hair better or worse. By the way I have somewhat round face. What is the best hair cut for this type of hair and shape of face? Will bob cut be good? I need help with regards with this and how to prevent dryness. What type of haircut would be best for very thick hair?

For a round face you don't want to cut it into a bob. The sides will make your face look fuller than usual. For a round face if your hair is at least shoulder length an also if it is really thick cut it into layers. Layers soften a round face and give thick hair the appearance of thin (but full of body) hair. Just make sure not to make the layers too short but have fun with them, get them where you can wear a feathered look or even a cute choppy flip look. And as far as it being dry looking the cut will eliminate the split ends and a good conditioning and hot oil treatment should take care of the rest.
i am a haidresser and I wouldn't reccomend a bob with a round face and very thick hair , i would say to maybe have it abit longer than shoulder length and have layers put in and ask ur hairdresser to thin it out loads ( thats the best thing)

i have got really thick hair to and this is wot i have and its so easy to handle ...as for dry hair make sure you get a good shampoo and conitioner (ask your hairdresser to reccomend some) and get a good treatment conditioner and apply that once a week and leave it in for 10 mins does wonders for your hair that and the haircut your hair will look great!!

i hope this helps.

good luck!!
Without a picture its hard to say what suits you best a bob can go a long way there are so many different styles and techniques for a bob out there it can work for any face. Your dryness in your hair use a moisture shampoo and deep condition it once or twice a week with heat.
Nothing too short...because when you couldn't be bothered doing it...you don't want your hair to be standing 20cm away from your face!!
A basic backcomb structure, slightly root-boosted, frame and a cheeky fringe
i have thick hair too.it's best to long hair

tip:always pony tail it so it will not become worse
