I am a 23 year old and I don't have a lot of fashion sense, but I really want a cute haircut. I am overweight and very busy, so it would have to be something that would work with my time constraints and my round face. What is the most flattering haircut that I could get? I currently have very long layered hair (it goes to my mid back). What is the best haircut for a person who is overweight?
It really doesn't matter what size you are, it's all about the shape of your face. I have seen a lot of bigger women with short hair and it looks great! A great idea would be to try on wigs that have short cuts to get an idea of what would work out the best for you. I do know that long hair is tricky for bigger people. You definitely want to take focus off of being plus size, so having great hair is a must. The only hair style that has worked out for me is a bob that is long in the front. That also seems to be one of the easiest hair styles to deal with. Below are some different styles friends of mine have (we are all size 16 and up!)

you could do a curly bob (curls make a chubby face look flattering). or a bob with bangs (bangs cover the forehead and make the face look slimming) or you could do a short kinda messy/choppy cut (my friend just cut her hair like that and she's a little chunky but it looks great on her)
Short hair is harder to manage than long hair, so nothing too short or below the chin. Long bobs are a great option if you have straight, fine hair. Long bobs are usually at least 2 inches longer than the jawline and flatter a round face because of the length.
Curls are always a good style for people who are busy, because they are very easy to manage and don't require much maintenance. Also you could opt for a style with a bang swept to the side...or even some highlights to enhance your beauty :)
i would suggest asking your stylist what would be a nice trendy style to frame your face http://beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotogalleries/ss/roundfa_3.htm [i typed in hair styles for round faces] see what you can find and make sure to imagine your face in place of the model's.
Go for somewhere around your shoulders. Too long can make you look shorter and too short can make you look more overweight. Remember: You have to keep your hair in proportion with your body if you want to look your best. Also, too keep proportions, trying adding some volume with your new cut!
I am also overweight with a round face, and I used to have shoulder length hair. In July I had it cut into an a-line bob and I have gotten so many compliments on it! It's also pretty easy to style so I def. recommend it! Good luck!
I would get it shorter but not too short. A little longer than shoulder length would be could. hair thats too short will show off the roundness in your face. and hair that is too long just doesnt look good in general.
Well, a short bob haircut would make you look tall therefor thinner if thats what your going for. And bobs are uber cute! :D
Something cute and short. Longer hair looks bad on overweight people.
