Is it possible to get a wispy haircut without getting layers?

I want my hair all one length, but when I get a blunt cut, the ends flip up, and I just don't really like the look. Is it possible to get wispy ends without getting layers?Is it possible to get a wispy haircut without getting layers?

To mimic that look, hairdressers cut the ends vertically along the shaft, rather than horizontally square on. Best to do just the last couple of inches like this using very sharp scissors, to avoid splitting further up, and then let it grow naturally, and it should grow wispy ends naturally.Is it possible to get a wispy haircut without getting layers?
no, 'wispy' hair is either naturally that way or cut that way. From what you have said, yours is not like this naturally so you would need to have it cut this way. This would definatly need some layers, especially as you say your hair naturally kicks out when you have ot cut bluntly.
