What kind of haircut should I get if I have flat hair?

My hair is flat on top, is there a haircut that will give me more volume on the top of my head?





I've gotten a few layers, but my hair flips out at the ends. If I got layers near the top of my head would that add volume or would it look weird?





P.S. I would like a haircut that reaches my shoulders or a little above.What kind of haircut should I get if I have flat hair?
go crazy with layers. start at about two or three inches from your scalp and go all the way down. use a volumizing mouse and tease your hair with wax....it looks amazinggggg

Yeah get shorter layers and when drying your hair use some volumising mousse (Toni and Guy is awesome) and use a round brush. An extra tip is to dry your hair with a hairdryer upside down.
cut shorter, or get layers.
