I have straight, slightly thick, shoulder length hair. My face shape is long and square. I want to be stylish but still look my age. I need hassle free easy care hairstyle.What do you think is the best haircut for a 40 yr old women?

go to a good stylist and see what she suggest. after all it's her profession to make u look good. i'm 42 and wear mine short and can spike it in a girly way when i feel like it. it's so quick to deal with and cute.

i dont really pay attention to 40 yr old women considdering im 12... but i would look at your intrests... if ur sporty somthing like a pony tail etc...
My suggestion is to get layers. Layers work very well with your face type, and they can do anything. Then, if you just want to let it air dry and not style it, you can use Bed Head Curl Up moose. It should be easy and hassle free.
