What's the difference between a haircut done at a salon compared to a haircut from GreatClips?

I've always gone to GreatClips and I'm twenty! I've always thought that there wasn't much difference; a haircut is a haircut. I have longer hair that comes down to the top of my chest with some layers and bangs. Honestly, what would a salon do differently? Do they work with your face shape or do something different from GreatClips?What's the difference between a haircut done at a salon compared to a haircut from GreatClips?
i'm 54 and i've gone to every kind of salon from upscale to old ladies homes, and many great clips or fantastic sams. it's always a crap shoot. sometimes you luck out with a good stylist, sometimes you don't.What's the difference between a haircut done at a salon compared to a haircut from GreatClips?
